Super Sunday ....

Today I have slept in, recharged, spent time with good friends & scrapbooked, just about a perfect day for me.

Toy, Phil, William & baby Sarah called in for lunch, Sarah is now 10 weeks old and this is her first appearance on my blog, so, so cute. Look at those cheeks!

 

My first scrapbook page in my new house. I sort of lost me creative urge for a few weeks, but now it is back and I have the pizza boxes all ready to go

 

I can't wait for Dancing with the stars tonight, I couldn't believe the blind guy last week, Mum & I cried. I haven't been into the show in the past but think he is so brave to tackle a show like that. Bye for now, heres to a great week to come.

A tough week ....

These girls were just what I needed after a bad Friday

 

I haven't laughed so much in a long time!

I have someone who is being really awful to me at the moment, yes I am trying to ignore her and the whole situation but that is easier said then done.

I had a good morning working at the nest & a nice afternoon napping on the couch!

I went to Inverell yesterday to see my boss so this was my boring dinner when I got home

 

Happy mail from Nerida - she got me Duty free things from Fiji

 

My new favourite snack - these are seriously good!

 

We had a campaign for General Insurance sales at work and if you did 6 in a fortnight you won an ipod, I got 4 last week and 2 this week - pretty cool prize. I already have an ipod but am going to take it to work and put it on a docking station, can't wait. My computer finally got fixed today, new hard drive so I can download photos to my hearts content, bye for now.

P.S 2 hr Grey's tonight, I think it's going to be a tear jerker!

I was thinking I was totally over news on Michael Jackson but I watched his funeral service re-played last night and cried when they all sang " we are the world ". I think he should be left to rest in peace now. Farewell.

Lovely but cold weekend ....

I took Mum and Dad out to the Rugby, possibly our coldest winters day in Moree this year!

 

 

We had a very yummy dinner at Burke & Wills, lamb shanks, perfect for a cold Winter night.

This morning I cooked bacon & eggs and took Mum to the markets. I got some herbs and Dad planted them in the back vegie patch.

 

We had a little photo shoot at the back shed. I am still having trouble down loading my photo's, the computer guy comes on Thursday so stay tuned for some shots of the herb garden. Bye.

Lucky me ....

I have the afternoon off and have just had lunch while watching Oprah in my sun room.

I got my hair coloured last night & eyebrows / eyelashes done today

 

My parents are coming out for the weekend & maybe the Gundi girls Saturday morning. I am shop girl tomorrow for Dibs & will take Mum & Dad out to the Rugby. We are going to dinner tomorrow night at Burke & Wills & tonight I am cooking a lamb roast - how gourmet!

Sunday we have the markets, so I have the whole weekend planned.

I am also doing up goodie bags for the girls, I think it is shaping up to be a great day!

So what's been happening ? ...

Pretty quiet week,

We had a Rugby meeting last night, we had heard it was going to be rather heated but was a dud - no one showed up!

Today I went to get some photos printed and the photo shop has moved.

I also went shopping & got these -

I am really into scarves at the moment

 

I thought this would be good for travelling later in the year

 

This afternoon at work we had a little party

 

 

tomorrow I am getting my hair done, I can't wait to cover those greys!

I upgraded my Austar to get the movie channels so have been in front of the box all afternoon. My little sister arrived back safe and sound from Fiji & that is all the news I have, bye.

Saturday happenings ....

Today started out normally enough

Bacon & egg sandwich for breakfast

 

I like how you can see my bed socks in the photo!

I then had a shower and had a flood in the ensuit. The water started coming up from the floor drain. Luckily it didn't make it to the carpet, I called a plumber and they poked around and said the pipe is blocked or broken underneath the concrete driveway? Thankfully I have 2 other bathrooms I can use until it is fixed.

I continued my day sorting and unpacking

 

 

I also had a lot of visitors. Sarah, Jon & the kids, Ruthie came to see her old house & Della, Isaac & Tom. I had been waiting to take some photo's of kids playing in the leaves.

Sarah asked me today to be Sophie's Godmother so that was lovely, I love SoSo.

P.S I was sad to hear today of Michaal Jackson passing away, a sad end to a life of someone once so talented.
